Grub problem???

Dont format your PC if grub is not working,
ask someone experienced for help.

Meanwhile you can still access windows from grub prompt,
just use following commands.

grub> rootnoverify (hd0,0)

here, the thing in bracket represents your drive number and windows
partition number.(which most commonly 0, 0)

grub> chainloader +1

grub> boot

and the windows will boot.

The Search for a Browser....

While surfing on the net one uses a web browser, and if the browser is not a good one our web experience is like a hell. So the question over here is which is the best web browser?
Is it the mighty Internet explorer?
Is it the wonderful Opera?
Is it the stylish Safari?
Or is it the market leader firefox?

Well! actually none of these. While each one of these browsers is as good as others but there is something else
developing too far, too good. What is it?

It is Konqueror. Yes the kde default browser and explorer.
Konqueror supports Netscape® 4.x plugins with loads of konqueror plugins.
It supports ftp and sftp protocols. It means we can browse remote files as easy as our Desktop.
It is highly configurable and comes with a beautiful look and most advanced features. Not only this it is the default browser for browsing files in kde. That means you are at home using it. Just have a look.

Web Icon Konqueror is an Open Source web browser with HTML 4.01 compliance, supporting Java applets, JavaScript, CSS 1, CSS 2.1, as well as Netscape plugins (for example, Flash or RealVideo plugins).Konqueror uses a very capable HTML rendering engine called KHTML. This engine is implemented as a KPart and as such, it can be easily used by other KDE programs. KHTML is also used by the Apple browser Safari.
This state of the art browser is surely ahead of others with html features like:

HTML 4.01 compliance.
ECMAscript 262 support (JavaScript). Notice that ECMAscript can still give problems because websites can detect browsers and choose to ignore Konqueror. Spoofing as another browser will often make sites work anyway.
Ability to house Java applets.
Cascading Style Sheets:

DOM1, DOM2 and partially DOM3 support in ECMAScript and native C++ bindings.
Full support for bidirectional scripts (arabic and hebrew). A screenshot can be found here.
SSL support (requires OpenSSL).
There are many more features to explore.

Besides web browsing Konqueror can also do the following.
File Manager Icon Konqueror is the file manager for the K Desktop Environment. It supports basic file management on local UNIX filesystems, from simple cut/copy and paste operations to advanced remote and local network file browsing.
Gear Icon Konqueror is the canvas for all the latest KDE technology, from KIO slaves (which provide mechanisms for file access) to component embedding via the KParts object interface, and it is one of the most customizable applications available.
Viewer Icon Konqueror is a universal viewing application, capable of embedding read-only viewing components in itself to view documents without ever launching another application.

for a full description of konqueror refer kde.

The biggest strength of konqueror is that it is open source just like rest of the kde.
It is currently not that much powerful in windows but it soon will, when kde comes to windows.
till then we have to wait.

I Searched Testdisk

Testdisk is better then any other recovery software in the sense that it supports loads of file systems and runs on each and every platform. And still it is very easy to use. Far better then others and miles ahead of them and thanks to Hiren that i found it.
